CCLCF BH Update: May 2019

In this edition of CCLCF’s Behavioral Health Update, our network psychiatrist, Dr. Catherine McCall, walks you through four new resource guides intended to help you meet the behavioral health needs of your patients. These guides are designed to assist busy primary care practitioners in accessing practical, evidence-based tools to help them successfully screen and treat for ADHD and Anxiety in adults and children/adolescents. For your convenience, the resource guides are hyperlinked within the newsletter.

Additionally, we want to inform our community about Mental Health Awareness Month. Since 1949, May is recognized as Mental Health Awareness Month. This year’s theme focuses on people living with chronic conditions and the people who care for them. As you know through practice, mental illnesses and chronic conditions often co-occur.
