CCLCF and The Harrelson Center Partner to Bring Health to the Help Hub

\"\"Community Care of the Lower Cape Fear (CCLCF) and The Harrelson Center have partnered to bring health care navigation to the Harrelson Center Help Hub. Susan Boyd, RN BSN, Care Manager will provide clients who have health concerns with healthcare resources, education, medical referrals, and will address barriers to healthier outcomes, including connecting them to resources for food, transportation, housing, and support for interpersonal violence or toxic stress. Ms. Boyd will be available during the Help Hub’s normal business hours, Tuesday through Thursday, 9 AM until Noon to provide in-person or telehealth services beginning August 1st. The Help Hub at the Harrelson Center serves individuals and families in need with short term/emergency financial assistance, referrals to Harrelson Center non-profit partners, connection to community resources, and now, healthcare navigation.  The position is funded through a grant with The Ministering Circle.
