Calling all practices! Want to save time filing claims to Medicaid? Please take a moment to read the Commercial Insurance Disallowance project bulletin on the NCDHHS website. You will be able to sign up for a new portal that will allow you to determine if Medicaid beneficiaries have additional insurance prior to Medicaid denying the claim. This will allow you to bill for the higher reimbursement the first time and streamline the coordination of benefits direct billing process. The portal will have all the information you need to file the commercial insurance claims.
